Holiday Home Styling: Blog Hop (Part 1)

Welcome and thank you for stopping by, if you just came from The Pickled Rose I hope you are enjoying our Holiday Home Tour so far.  It is indeed my FAVORITE time of the year!  I love to deck the halls, almost every room in our home gets some sort of Christmas decorations.  My husband thought I was a little crazy at first but now he's totally on board with over the top decorations.

I have such fond childhood memories of my mom doing the exact same thing.  It always got us so excited for Christmas.  I loved helping her decorate the house, make Christmas cookies and wrap gifts with all the prettiest wrapping paper.  She even taught me how to tie bows! :)  My mom is the BEST, she just makes the holidays magical and I hope my children feel the same about me someday!

Today I've teamed up with some other talented bloggers to bring you some Holiday Home Inspiration.  We are sharing rooms in our homes that are all Decked Out for Christmas!  I'm sharing our formal dining room with you today.

I wanted my overall theme to be "Rustic Glam" this year.  So I stuck to neutrals (surprise, surprise..lol) with lots of metallics!  I love how the jute runner and wood bring a casual feel to the space but the gold and silver make it just dressy enough for the holidays. :)

This was a very easy tablescape to throw together!  I grabbed some frosted green garland at Michaels and intertwined it with some white twig garland to add texture and thicken it up.  I found these votive candle holders at Hobby Lobby, I picked out silver and gold in various shapes and sizes.  They pair great with my favorite gold rimmed World Market glasses.

I found these super affordable gold chargers at Pier 1, I love how they match our gold flatware.  Now let's talk about these darling deer napkin rings shall we?  I picked these cuties up at my friends shop, Very Violet Boutique.  These are what actually inspired my whole plan for this space.
